St. Wenceslaus offers the Called & Gifted™ Discernment Process developed by the Catherine of Siena Institute. It is open to all adult parishioners (21+). The program is led by St. Wenceslaus lay leaders who have been specially trained by the Catherine of Siena Institute (siena.org/called-gifted). They developed and instituted the discernment process starting back in 1993. Sessions at St. Wenceslaus are offered yearly in the spring.

The Called & Gifted™ Discernment Process is designed to help Christians discern the presence of charisms in their lives. Charisms, or spiritual/supernatural gifts, are special abilities given to all Christians by the Holy Spirit not just for their own sake, but to represent Christ and be channels of God's goodness for others.

Fee: $60 which covers

• Part One: Weekend workshop (Friday evening 6PM - 9PM & Saturday 9AM - 5PM)

  • Sessions are a combination of live presentations from the Called & Gifted™ Team and video teaching from the Catherine of Siena Institute

  • Snacks on Friday + Breakfast and Lunch on Saturday

  • Complete Resource Manual from the Institute

  • One-time use of the gifts inventory: results are emailed and available online for one year

  • Six month access to all video teaching from the Institute

• Part Two: One on one personal discernment consultation with trained St. Wenceslaus Called & Gifted™ team member

• Part Three: 4 Discernment Small Group Meetings

  • 2 hour small group format, to practice and discern personal charisms

  • 2027 dates: February 18, March 4 & 18, April 1
