Trap Club
Grades: 6th-8th
The trap shooting club consists of 6 regular season meets, followed by a conference shoot then the State shoot in Doniphan, NE. Practice typically starts in February, weather dependent, and concludes the first week of May with the State shoot. We hold a clinic in October over the course of 2 Saturdays in order for new shooters to come out and give trapshooting a try. At that time, we will have trapshooting guns as well as the ammo so kids can give it a try before committing to the expense of the equipment. Once committed to the team, all shooters must complete the Hunter Safety course through the State of Nebraska. All boys and girls in 6th-8th may participate.
