Extended Care
Extended Care is a school-aged childcare program offered to families with students attending St. Wenceslaus. It is an affordable option offering quality care before and after School. Register Now!

Kindergarten Enrichment Program
The St. Wenceslaus Extended Care Program is offering a NEW Kindergarten Enrichment Program (KEP). This program serves as an extension to the Kinders day, providing care for both morning and afternoon kindergarteners, giving parents the option for children to attend a full-day program. KEP will build upon lessons learned in the classroom creating a synergy between the school day while also building social skills providing your child the opportunity to form lasting relationships with friends outisde the classroom. Child to Staff Ratio
We are a Nebraska licensed child care provider. Nebraska requires us to have one staff member for every 15 students. However, we strive to have one staff member for every ten students.

Daily Schedule
6:45 am  - 7:45 am   free time, board games, cards (K-8 Grades)
7:45 am  - 8:15 am   free play, announcement by school, and prayer (KEP-PM Kindergarteners)
8:15 am  - 8:45 am   review lessions for day
8:45 am  - 9:00 am   snack
9:00 am  - 10:45 am   group lesssons, outdoor time, reading, and audio time (changes daily in accordance with the lesson plans)
10:45 am  - 11:15 am   lunch
11:15 am  - 12:00 pm   free play
12:00 pm proceed to classroom

11:45 am  - 12:15 pm   lunch
12:15 pm  - 2:15 pm   group lesssons, outdoor time, and free play (changes daily in accordance with the lesson plans)
2:15 pm  - 3:00 pm   quiet time, reading, and audio time
3:00 pm  - 3:15 pm   prepare to join Extended Care
3:15 pm  - 3:45 pm   sign-in after school kids and snack time (K-8 Grades)
3:45 pm  - 4:30 pm   outdoors or gym time (K-8 Grades)
4:30 pm  - 6:00 pm   activities (K-8 Grades)

 

 Program Mission
At St. Wenceslaus Extended Care & Kindergarten Enrichment Program our mission is to:
  • Provide superior quality child care in a safe and supportive environment for St Wenceslaus students before and after school.
  • Support and reinforce the Parish school's mission of student education, spirituality, morals, academics, and physical development.
  • Support the development of individuals who will proclaim and live their faith.

Hours of Operation

  • 6:45 am - 7:45 am (K-8 Grades)
  • 7:45 am - 12:00 pm (Kindergarten only)
  • 11:15 am - 3:15 pm (Kindergarten only)
  • 3:15 pm - 6:00 pm (K-8 Grades)
We are open all days when school is in session. We do not operate on snow days, teacher in-service days, or vacation days. On early dismissal days there in no pm care.


Rates
At St. Wenceslaus Extended Care & Kindergarten Enrichment Program our rates are :
  • AM: $3.25 flat rate
  • PM: $5.00 per hour (3:15 pm - 6:00 pm)
  • Kindergarten: $95.00 Full time, $30.00 per day Part time
Billing
Parents are billed at the end of each month. Payments are due on the 10th of each month. If current month calendar is not completed and your child is in attendance the hourly fee is $7.00.

Program Extrensions The St Wenceslaus Extended Care Program offers a variety of activities for students to participate in throughout the year. Some programs that we currently offer include:
