Mission Statement:
"...Then the just will ask him: 'Lord when did we see you hungry and feed you or
see you thirsty and give you drink? When did we welcome you away from home or
clothe you in your nakedness? When did we visit you when you were ill or in
prison?' The King will answer them: 'I assure you, as often as you did it for one of
my least brothers you did it for me...'". - Matthew 25:31-46
As Catholic Christians, the Human Needs Committee
is committed to the teachings of Christ as they relate
to serving the physical and spiritual needs of others.
This committee shall establish, administer and
promote social and educational programs that offer
parishioners the opportunities to serve those in
need, especially the least of our brothers and sisters.
This committee shall also attempt to raise the
awareness of others to the issues of social justice,
peace and human rights. Our mission is to translate
our inner faith to words and acts of Charity.
"Faith without works is dead..." James 2:14
